Yandex Maps Adds AI Search That Finds Places by Menu Item
Yandex Maps has a new AI feature for finding places based on a specific request. Users can ask for a restaurant serving a particular dish, a salon offering a certain treatment or a clinic providing a given service. The service reviews menus, reviews and photos, explains why it recommends those options, and immediately marks the relevant spots on the map so they are easier to compare by location.

Yandex has added a neural network to Yandex Maps for a new kind of place search: the system can now find a restaurant with a specific dish, a beauty salon offering a particular treatment or a clinic providing a needed service, analyzing information directly on the map.
How does AI in Yandex Maps work when searching for places?
The feature is built into the AI chat in Yandex Maps. The user types a request (for example, 'Recommend a restaurant with risotto near Paveletskaya'), and the system searches for suitable places by menu and services, showing the results on the map.
