On Friday, the company's CEO Dario Amodei personally entered the West Wing of the White House for a meeting with White House Chief of Staff Suzie Wiles. The Mythos project opened the door.

Mythos is an Anthropic cybersecurity initiative that appears to have become the main argument for Washington. The company is not simply developing powerful language models — it is offering the state a concrete set of tools to protect against threats that its own developments partly create. In a context where Congress and the US executive branch are increasingly seeking technological partners to ensure national cybersecurity, Anthropic found itself in the right place with the right product.
