Hotel chain Hyatt has rolled out ChatGPT Enterprise to employees worldwide, integrating GPT-5.4 and Codex into the company's core workflows. The aim is to raise staff productivity, streamline operational tasks and improve guest service on a global scale.
Hyatt operates more than a thousand properties in dozens of countries and is among the largest international hotel chains. That is why the scale of the rollout is significant: ChatGPT Enterprise is now available to staff at headquarters, regional offices and the hotels themselves.
The enterprise version gives staff access to GPT-5.4, one of OpenAI's latest and most powerful language models, while guaranteeing that company data is not used to train models.
At the same time, Hyatt's technical teams get access to Codex, OpenAI's tool for code generation and automation. This opens the way to faster development of internal platforms: booking management systems, analytics dashboards and automated reports on operational metrics. For a company with a global footprint, such tools make it possible to unify the technology stack and reduce the load on developers.
Practical use of ChatGPT Enterprise in hospitality spans several areas. Employees use AI to prepare personalized offers for guests, draft marketing materials, localize communications for different markets and automate internal documentation. HR teams connect the model to onboarding and corporate training. Operations managers use it to analyze property performance.
Access control and data security are an important part of the enterprise version of ChatGPT. Company administrators manage employee permissions, conversation history does not leave the corporate environment, and sensitive customer data is protected. For the hospitality sector, where staff constantly handle guests' personal data and payment information, this is a critical requirement.
Hyatt joins a growing number of large corporations that have moved from pilot projects to full-scale enterprise adoption of AI tools. ChatGPT Enterprise has previously been deployed by financial institutions, technology companies and large retailers. The hospitality sector is moving somewhat more slowly, largely because of the industry's specifics: a large number of frontline employees and a heterogeneous IT infrastructure. Hyatt's move may become a signal for other players in the industry.
For OpenAI, the partnership with Hyatt is one more confirmation of its strategy of monetizing through the enterprise segment. ChatGPT Enterprise targets companies that need security guarantees, customization and deployment support. Large chains with a global presence are exactly the audience for which standard ChatGPT Plus is not enough, and for which Enterprise-level integration pays off through scale.
Hyatt's rollout shows that AI tools are moving confidently beyond tech companies and becoming part of everyday work in traditional industries. The question is no longer when large corporations will start using AI, but how systematically they will be able to integrate it into operational reality.
