Chinese JD.com (Jingdong) has entered into a strategic partnership with special robot maker Qiteng Robotics (七腾机器人): in late July 2026, the two sides agreed on mass deployment of robotics across five heavy industries at once — energy and petrochemicals, coal mines, power grid infrastructure, emergency safety, and rail transport.
