AWS Simplified Access to Amazon Bedrock Models via Managed Entitlements

AWS Machine Learning Blog 2026 published a material about managed entitlements for Amazon Bedrock — a mechanism that allows organizations to purchase a subscription to a model once from a central account and then distribute access to it across all working accounts without unnecessary AWS Marketplace permissions.

What problem managed entitlements solve

Amazon Bedrock provides access to third-party and proprietary AI models through AWS Marketplace, and in large organizations with multiple separate AWS accounts (for different teams, projects or environments) previously subscription and Marketplace permissions had to be configured in each account separately. This complicated administration and created the risk of inconsistent access across teams.

How centralized subscription works

With managed entitlements, a company subscribes to a model once from a central account, and then distributes usage rights to other accounts in the organization through AWS Organizations — without needing to separately configure AWS Marketplace permissions in each of them.

• Subscription to a Bedrock model is completed once from a central account
• Access is distributed across all working accounts of the organization automatically
• AWS Marketplace permissions in each individual account are no longer required

For organizations with dozens of working accounts, such an approach removes significant administrative burden: before, granting access to a new model to a new team meant a separate approval process in Marketplace for each account, now — one centralized configuration.

AWS continues to reduce organizational barriers between pilot use of AI models and their deployment at the scale of the entire company — managed entitlements for Bedrock removes precisely the routine that previously hindered the transition from separate experiments to corporate standard work with models.
