AWS Demonstrates Generative UI for AI Agents on Bedrock AgentCore via AG-UI

AWS Machine Learning Blog published an analysis of how the AG-UI protocol integrates into the Fullstack AgentCore Solution Template (FAST) to build interactive frontends for AI agents on the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore platform, and the CopilotKit tool adds generative user interface and human-in-the-loop mode.

What is Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore is an AWS service for deploying and managing AI agents in production: it handles infrastructure tasks like scaling, agent memory, and tool call orchestration, so developers can focus on the agent's logic itself. Fullstack AgentCore Solution Template (FAST) is a ready-made template for quickly launching a full-featured application on top of AgentCore, including a frontend.

How AG-UI and CopilotKit work together

AG-UI is an open protocol that standardizes event exchange between an AI agent and a user interface: the agent can not only respond with text but also update the interface state in real time. AWS material shows how this integration is embedded in FAST.
