How the platform is organized

At the core of Claude Science is a universal coordinating agent that can run other agents and interact with specialized agents created by users themselves. A separate reviewer agent checks citations and calculations in finished materials, noting and correcting errors. Each result is accompanied by an auditable history of its creation — down to the code that produced it — so it can be verified and reproduced. The platform natively displays proteins, molecular structures, and other scientific objects.

Anthropic calls Claude Science "the most significant expansion" of the company's efforts in natural sciences since launching the life sciences initiative last fall. Users can work with the service just like with a regular Jupyter Notebook — right where a scientist is already used to working: locally or on a remote machine.
