OpenAI and Singapore Launch $300M Laboratory Focused on AI Agents

OpenAI will open its first laboratory outside the US in Singapore as part of the ambitious OpenAI for Singapore project. The initiative has been allocated over 300 million Singapore dollars from the MDDI ministry. The laboratory will focus on developing and implementing agentic AI systems capable of independently solving complex practical problems.
