How DeepMind's Co-Scientist helps rejuvenate human cells

DeepMind researchers used the AI system Co-Scientist to identify new genetic factors capable of rejuvenating human cells. The system analyzed a vast amount of biological data and suggested non-obvious candidates that researchers had not previously considered. Scientists tested these hypotheses in the lab, and several of them did indeed rejuvenate cells. The result could open the way to treating age-related diseases.
