GitHub is testing an experimental AI agent to check code accessibility in pull requests. The agent automatically catches common issues: incorrect markup, poor control names, missing status announcements, and problems with logical navigation for users of assistive technologies. Out of 3,500 PRs, it successfully fixed 68% of issues. But complex patterns — drag-drop, tree view, data grid — are left to humans.
