OpenAI brings Codex to mobile ChatGPT and puts development controls on the phone

OpenAI brought Codex to mobile ChatGPT. Users can now start and continue tasks from an iPhone or Android phone, view diffs, terminal output, and test results while the agent works on a connected Mac. From the phone, they can also approve commands, answer the agent’s questions, and switch between threads. The feature is rolling out in preview to all plans, including Free and Go, with Windows support coming later.
