Preply Launches AI Lesson Summaries: Personalized Feedback for Students

Preply — an online tutoring platform with tens of millions of users — has announced the launch of an AI feature based on OpenAI. Now, after each lesson with a tutor, students automatically receive a lesson summary, personalized feedback, and additional language exercises for independent study.

What the new feature can do

After a session ends, the system automatically analyzes the material covered and generates a structured summary. Students receive a brief overview of what was discussed, where mistakes were made, and a set of exercises for reinforcement — without additional effort from the teacher. Key features of the new function:

• Automatic summary of topics and grammar rules covered in the lesson
• Personalized feedback on speech and writing errors
• Language exercises adapted to the student's level and goals
• Progress tracking and synchronization with the user profile
