Perplexity Launches Bumblebee — Scanner to Find Malware in Developer Code

Perplexity has introduced Bumblebee, a specialized tool for scanning developer code for known malware. This read-only application allows teams to quickly verify whether their development environment and codebase have been compromised following the release of new supply-chain advisories. Unlike competitors such as Chainguard, Bumblebee requires no invasive changes to development processes or CI/CD pipelines.
