Anker Launches Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Earbuds with Custom AI Chip Thus

Anker has introduced wireless earbuds Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Pro Max featuring the custom AI chip Thus, which the company announced a month ago. The chip is used for the noise cancellation system and ensures clear voice audibility during calls even in noisy conditions.

The Thus AI Chip in Action

Thus is Anker's first proprietary audio chip, developed specifically for sound processing in earbuds. The chip uses neural network algorithms to analyze ambient sound and extract the desired signal. The main task of Thus is to distinguish useful sound (user voice, music) from environmental noise. Thanks to this, the noise cancellation system works more efficiently and doesn't suppress important moments in music.

For phone calls, Thus operates using a different scheme. The chip isolates the user's voice and makes it clearer while simultaneously suppressing background noise from the microphones.
